February Tings 🥰
Issa a new month and chile, I'm happy about it. A lot was going on in my personal life but I made it through. I won’t bore you with the details, so let’s move on to the juicy $hit.
First things first, Mine Again 2 is written. Now please keep in mind that I need to do rewrites, read overs, send to the editor, send to the proofreader, and reread again. So, give ya girl some time to get it ready for your reading pleasure. I must warn you this is a tad bit shorter than the first book but the story is complete. Meaning, you're going to get all of your questions answered. Oh and it’s tons of drama so I'm hopeful you all will be fulfilled.
I was looking over Keece and Paris, right? And while I was cringing at my old writing style, I was in awe of all the chaos. Truthfully, I miss writing about that toxic, chaotic, hood drama. There was a reason why I was looking over an old book that came out almost seven years ago. It sparked something within me and honestly, I just wanna say…
I read two books this month and baby, when I say they delivered, that's what they did. They inspired me so much that I can’t help but tell you all about them. The first book was Lucinda John’s Toxic. Chile these characters stressed me out so bad, I had to put the book down a couple times. Law and Marshy was just… girl read it for yourself. The second book I read was an exclusive release that you can’t read (LMAO) I know y'all like, “Well, bish, why are you telling us about it?” I mean, I gotta share it though. It was Dominique Thomas’ Going 4 Broke. Y'all when I say good and juicy, I mean just that. Maybe one day Dom will release it on Amazon or her website. We’ll just have to see.
In June, I’ll be in New Orleans for the Growing & Glowing Indie Love book event. I believe tickets are still available. So grab your good girlfriends, make it a weekend trip, and come see me and a host of other talented authors.
I'm praying February will be good to me and you all as well. I can’t wait to start my new-new. I wanna tell y'all about it but things are subject to change. Therefore, I’ll share once everything is set in stone.
